Generali Pilipinas gives more than a million in cash prizes

Insurer Generali Pilipinas (GP) awarded more than 1 million in cash prizes to its deserving sales force from Bancassurance and Exclusive Agency channels in its recently-concluded Chairman’s Cup Contest.

Launched in March 2009, the Chairman’s Cup contest helped drive Life business activity and productivity for two of GP’s distribution channels.

“The Chairman’s Cup is a two-month drive that generated activity, productivity, and healthy competition from our sales force. In fact, in May alone, GP generated P534 million premiums, bringing GP’s year-to-date (YTD) production to P1.780 billion or 32% over the same period last year,” said GP’s President & CEO Derek Chan.

GP’s Individual Life generated 1.23 billion YTD premiums, up by 90% over last year, while Group Insurance and Property & Casualty hit P255 million and 290 YTD million premiums.
